Allswater Issues Bid Package for 42m Fishing Vessels

Posted May 8, 2012

Allswater has completed the initial design of a new 42m fishing vessel for operations off the east coast of Canada.

The vessel’s design and hull form was developed to suit the operating profile for the intended fishery with means of reducing overall fuel consumption while minimizing vessel motions in the prevailing sea conditions. The hull has additionally been designed to maximize the amount of developable plates and reduced steel construction costs.

The design intent was to manage construction cost while reducing overall costs of the vessel through reduced maintenance, fuel consumption and crew requirements.
