Allswater Welcomes George Brown

Allswater is pleased to announce George Brown has joined our team and brings with him over 35 years of progressive marine electrical and ship survey and inspection experience.

Prior to joining Allswater, George was a marine electrical engineering and marine surveyor consultant with an international marine and engineering consultancy firm. His experience includes, but is not limited to evaluation and testing of Emergency Shutdown (ESD) and Integrate Fire &Gas (F&G) systems on offshore drilling vessels, Marine Warranty Surveying (MWS) for installation of subsea trees using jack-up drilling rig. George is also experienced issues related to Dynamic Positioning (DP), authoring, conducting and evaluating Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) trials for vessels and offshore platforms, conducting Common Marine Inspection Document (CMID) and Offshore Vessel Inspection Database (OVID) assurance surveys to verify SOLAS compliance, and vessel incident investigations.

A Certified STCW marine engineer with a B.Sc. Degree focusing on engineering principals, and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, George, is an expert in marine electrical distribution systems, including design, construction, testing, evaluation and maintenance and has participated in the development of national standards for marine electrical systems. George is also a Certified in Marine Informatics Technology and A+ certified PC technician.
